From Commercial Apprenticeship to Web "Pioneer"

Florian's career began grounded in a commercial apprenticeship. This foundation continues to shape his analytical precision and entrepreneurial pragmatism to this day. His first job in 2001 was at VWR International, where he designed and programmed the Swiss website. This was followed by formative roles as Online Portal Manager at Microsoft Switzerland, where he was responsible for the entire presence of microsoft.com/switzerland, and at Orell Füssli Wirtschaftsinformationen, with technical responsibility for their internet presence. These early years at the intersection of technology, design, and business laid the groundwork for his later path into strategic corporate management.

15 Years Hutter Consult: From Consultant to CFO

2011 marked the most formative stage of his career: joining Hutter Consult AG and the start of an intensive, years-long collaboration with Thomas Hutter.  

What began as an online consultant and project manager focusing on search engine marketing, web analytics, and user interface design, evolved over a decade and a half into one of the company's central development and leadership roles.  

As Head of Advertising from 2017, Florian was responsible for seven-figure advertising budgets across the entire spectrum of digital advertising, from Meta and Google to LinkedIn. With his promotion to CFO, he took over financial management and the HR department from a financial perspective, ultimately guiding the company through its exit to the MYTY Group and integration into SiR MaRY. A journey that demonstrates what is possible when entrepreneurial vision and operational discipline consistently work together over many years.
